Andrea is a registered USPTO attorney and has been operating her own boutique practice, The Law Firm of Andrea Hence Evans, LLC, since 2007. Prior to founding her practice, Andrea spent five years as both a patent and trademark examiner at the USPTO. As a patent examiner, Andrea examined patent applications in the electrical and mechanical engineering areas featuring printing, keyboards and time measuring devices. She earned a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School , and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology; she is also a graduate of Spelman College where she earned a B.S. in mathematics.
